  • How do i open a Jet Account?

    Simply visit any Jet store with: 1. Your National ID 2. Proof of residence in the form of either a water bill or electricity bill (and a photo copy of the same should you wish to retain the original). You can also bring a letter from the Landlord acknowledging that you lease his/her property, together with the landlord's proof of residence. 3. A Payslip or 3 month bank statement with a supporting letter from your employer. You will be required to complete a Credit application form which you can also download and fill in beforehand and bring it in-store with you, along with the above documentation, to complete your application

  • How long will it take to open my account?

    On receipt of all documents highlighted above we take 2 – 3 working days to open an account. This enables us to do the necessary credit and reference checks.

  • Am I restricted on which stores I can buy in using my Jet account?

    Not at all! You are welcome to purchase in any Jet store across Zimbabwe using your Jet account

  • Can I use my Jet account to transact in an Edgars store?

    No, you can only purchase in any Jet store. You are required to open a separate Edgars account should you wish to purchase on credit at Edgars.

  • Can I open a Jet Credit account if I don't have a payslip?

    Yes you can! If you are formally employed but do not have a payslip, you can bring a letter from your place of employment as proof of employment, along with a 3 month bank statement.

  • Do you have a lay by facility available?

    Yes, we do have a lay-by facility available in all Jet Stores. You pay 50% deposit of the total purchase and the remaining 50% within 30 days.

  • When is my installment due?

    Installments are due by the 1st week of the following month. Customers are encouraged to check the required instalment at their nearest Jet store. We will send you an SMS a week before the instalment due date, however we encourage all our customers to diarise due dates for their instalment payments. This is to avoid unnecessary late payment penalty charges in case SMSes don’t reach them. All customers are obliged to pay their instalment dues on a monthly basis.

  • Are you open on Sundays and public holidays?

    Many of our stores are open on Sundays and public holidays. If you would like to find out if a specific branch is open, visit our Contact Us page for contact details.

  • What if I can't find something in my branch which I saw advertised on Facebook?

    If you like something you know is in-store but you can't find it at your branch, simply see your Branch Manager to request a transfer. Subject to availability of stock, they would be happy to organise this for you.

  • How can I apply to work at Jet?

    Drop off your CV with the Branch Manager of any Jet store. They will be able to assist you further.

  • How do I become a model for Jet?

    To apply, send your full-length photos as well as your height, size, age, contact details and agency (if any) to theclub@edgars.co.zw. We will then contact you should you be shortlisted for a photoshoot.

  • Can I open an account if I am self employed?

    Yes you can! If you are self-employed, you can also open an account without having to bring a payslip. All you need to do is bring is your ID and Proof of residence in the form of either a water bill or electricity bill (and a photo copy of the same should you wish to retain the original). You can also bring a letter from the Landlord acknowledging that you lease his/her property, together with the landlord's proof of residence.
